Craftsmen from Lindum Joinery are playing a key role in the restoration of a 1938 Rolls Royce Limousine.
The vehicle was bought at auction by Lindum Group in 2012 and is currently undergoing a total refurbishment to bring it back to its former glory.
The project is being led by John Hayhurst, Group Fleet Manager for Lindum, and involves mechanics from the Lindum Plant division along with Lindum Joinery’s Rob Lomax who is recreating all the original timber construction and features.
The car is thought to have been once owned by Dorothy Ann Lean, better known as film star Ann Todd who appeared alongside Gregory Peck as his long suffering wife in Alfred Hitchcock’s The Paradine Case in 1947.
